Hi,
I am a great grandson of Alex. His oldest son, Wallace was my grandfather. Wallace’s youngest daughter, Esther, my mother. I met and had dinner with Norman during one of his visits to my parents in the Philadelphia area in the late eighties.
I might have some articles that you could use as well as interviews I’ve conducted with various pros who knew Alex as well as the late Jim McKay from ‘Wide World of Sports’.
I hope I can of help to the family as the reamining Philadelphia area descendent.
I have no contact with the Findlay family and would appreciate if you could forward contact information via email so we can become better acquainted and collaborate on information in supporting Alex’s involvment in the history of Golf in the U.S. and abroad.

I am the President of Medford Lakes Country Club in Medford Lakes NJ. Alex Findlay designed our course (then a nine hole) in 1929. I am sure that the vast majority of our 550 members have no concept of the history and legendary background of Mr. Findlay. I would like to help educate them on how fortunate we are to be part of such rich history. Your site provides a lot of wonderful background that can be used to start this process. I would like to receive any updates when they become available. There are some wonderful pictures of Alex Findlay on your site…..is there any way I can obtain a few copies so that I can include them in our newsletters. I can be reached by e-mail or by calling 609-234-0446. I look forward to hearing from you. Bob
